Frequently Asked Question's
What is your guarantee?
We guarantee that you will be completely satisfied with your new pen. If
you are unhappy with your pen for any reason, just return it within 30 days,
in new condition, for a full refund. If your pen malfunctions or is defective
in any manner, within a year, please contact
us and we will be happy to either repair or replace it. Our goal is
your total satisfaction with your new pen.
When you say “hand crafted”, what do you mean?
Each pen is crafted in my workshop, individually. Because of this, each
pen is the same, but not 100%. That is the nature of the hand crafting process.
Care is taken with each pen to assure the highest quality possible. The
barrels are created, finished and assembled with the best components available.
How do I know this is real meteorite?
Meteorite collecting is gaining in popularity as museums and collectors
worldwide continually search for the rarest specimens to add to their collections.
Fine examples are cut up into pieces to satisfy the collecting community.
When they are cut and their surface etched with a solution containing nitric
acid, there is a special pattern, called the Widmanstatten pattern that
only shows on true meteorites. No rocks on earth have this pattern. It is
a result of the slow, millions of years long, cooling process in space,
that the asteroids/meteorites go through as they are formed. The meteorite
material I use is from that cutting process. It comes from a reputable astronomer/meteorite
dealer in New York who cuts meteorites for other collectors.
When my pen runs out of ink, where do I get refills?
Generally, refills are easily available at any office supply store.
How is my pen shipped?
Your new pen is packed securely and shipped, in the U.S. via U.S.P.S. Priority
Mail with insurance. The Domestic shipping cost is a flat $7.00. International
orders are shipped via Priority Mail International, with insurance. The
shipping rate for Canada is $21.00. Anywhere else in the world, secure shipping
and insurance is $30.00. The proper customs value is declared on all overseas
shipments.
What is the shipping charge for more than one pen?
The shipping rate for 1, or more pens, anywhere in the world, is the same
flat rate.
How quickly do you ship?
Normally, pens are shipped within 2 business days. If there is a backorder
and your pen cannot be shipped within a reasonable time, I will notify you
and you can cancel the order at your discretion, if you so desire.
How do I pay for my order?
Currently our system is set up to accept orders through PayPal. It is an
easy, free and completely secure way to pay via credit, debit card or your
balance in PayPal. You do NOT need to sign up with PayPal to use their free
service. If you would like to mail your payment, just contact
us.
Do you wholesale your pens?
Unfortunately, at this time we don’t accept wholesale/dealer orders
for our pens. If you are a dealer and are interested, feel free to email
us and I will be glad to notify you if we do at a later time.
Is there a quantity discount?
Unfortunately, again, we do not discount for quantity orders. Each pen is
meticulously handcrafted and it takes us as long to make each pen, whether
the order is 1 or 100. This way we can keep the quality up to our standards.
Do you take custom orders?
We will do our best to accommodate your requests.
